UNSW Water Research Team Ranked 8th in the World for Sustainable Management of Clean Water

The 2021 Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings were announced. These measure the progress of universities working to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and are a great measure of the impact of our work beyond traditional research metrics.
 
The results showed that UNSW is ranked 8th in the world for its work towards ensuring availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation (SDG 6). This is a an outstanding achievement, and a great reflection of all the wonderful work done at by the water research team at UNSW across all research projects and outreach activities. UNSW placed in the top 100 for seven SGDs, and ranked 96 in the world overall out of 1,240 institutions from 98 countries.
